Visually the work privileges tight-framing and muted textures, compressing scale so that cosmic absence registers as interior pressure; tonally it triangulates dystopian austerity, body-horror effects, and the late-act logic of chamber drama to keep attention on procedure rather than spectacle. Interpersonal arrangements are brittle: alliances form as tactical necessities, oversight arrives as administrative menace, and violence is felt more as ethical consequence than sensational payoff. What the film refuses is reconciliation.
